JANUARY 2 0 1 2 BULLETIN 
PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE: The Garden Club celebrated 2011 year end with a fabulous Silver-Bells holiday dinner dance chaired by Clorinda Aldrich, Michael & Anna Bolechowski. We enjoyed a delicious dinner presented by Knight’s Catering, and danced it off to the music of Tony Macaroni’s band. Michael’s martini & manhattan bar was a big attraction as always. We were serenaded by Walter Farrell, our talented resident crooner, with favorite holiday carols. Walt also led us in a merry sing-along. I would like to thank Dan Kelly and the FHA Board for providing the big outdoor and little indoor trees plus extra greens for Wreath-Making Day. Thanks to the talented Ann Rieger-Matthews and Louise Bacigalupi for showing us how to fashion our own wreaths. We are grateful for the big help from Donna & Jim Earhart, Katie & John Balestreri, Carol & Tony DeLucchi, Suzanne & David Curtiss, Eva Monroe and the old goat Mel Bachmeier, for climbing up the ricketty ladder to decorate the Christmas tree outside and hanging ornaments inside. Nancy Hagosian and her decorating team did an astonishing job transforming the clubhouse into a snowbound abode decked out in silver and green. Those who came to help were treated with a tasty dim sum lunch. Wishing you the very best in 2012. --Yen Bachmeier
