PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:

I’d like to thank Clorinda Aldrich for bringing in the Red Cross representatives to show us how to prepare in case of a disaster, to Dottie McHugh for making the beautiful bags so we could package toiletries for battered women in shelter, to Darlene Hartman for providing us nourishment with her delicious “earthquake” cakes, and to Nancy Hagosian and Anna Cristoforo for the floral arrangements.

During the general meeting we voted on the slate of officers recommended by the Nominating Committee:

The new officers will be installed at our traditional Strawberry Dessert Day.

This is my last message, most of all I thank every single person who made the last 2 years memorable and educational for me. We celebrated the seasons with joy, enjoyed field trips to gardens and museum; we planted the gardens and performed community services; we cleaned the clubhouse and increased our revenue. Above all many thanks for giving me the privilege to serve you in the last two years.
