PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:
Our general meeting was successfully hosted by Helen Scholten who stepped in for Eva. Thanks to Eva Monroe for scheduling Brent Dennis from SF Conservatory of Flowers. The presentation was informative and cheerful. Thanks to all the terrific helpers and attendees.
In less than 2 weeks we are going to have our 1st evening gathering on Friday, October 30th we will feast our eyes and soul with hearty food, great neighbors and good cheers. Thanks to Anna and Mike Bolechowski , we will have our very own Oktoberfest party. Bring your own favorite beer stein and dancing shoes!
DON’T MISS OUR ANNUAL BOOKFEST! It’s Monday the 16th. Come browse the new books and hear a presentation by Neil Sofman. Start your holiday shopping early! Books are great for gift giving as well as your personal reading pleasure.
Toni Buckley and Eleanor Barry will again be collecting nonperishable food for the Food Bank to benefit the needy of San Francisco. For the women living in shelter, bring your little toiletries you collected this summer to our general meeting
