PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:

What a lovely afternoon it was strolling through the rain forest flower gardens with our garden club friends. We enjoyed the informative guided tour to the SF Conservatory of Flowers and the wondrous Garden Railroad Exhibit. The icing on cake was tea time in Eva Monroe's beautiful home. We’d like to thank Eva, for being both a terrific field trip organizer and such a gracious hostess. (View slideshow)

Upcoming Events:

• February 28: Lunar New Year Celebration
Dim Sum, Roasted Pig, Lion Dance, and Fun! Sponsored by the Association and Garden Club.
Note that this event was previously planned for February 27 but due to the SF Chinatown New Year’s Parade, it is now on Sunday February 28. Free for Forest Hill Association members.

• March 15: St. Patrick’s Day Dinner and Silent Auction
St. Patrick's dinner party is on Monday, March 15th at 6:30. If you would like to attend please send your check made out to the Forest Hill Garden Club to Dottie McHugh at 368 Pacheco Street (dottiemchugh@yahoo.com, 681-5750). We are getting close to capacity, so don't miss out by waiting too long.

Bring your check book to the party since we will have a silent auction with great items. If you would like to donate items, call Eva Monroe at 415-753-0705 or email her @ evamonroe@aol.com with donations or questions.

• April 19: Spring Community Service Activity
At this meeting we will assemble toiletry bags for battered women's shelters in San Francisco. Please contact Clorinda Aldrich at 415-564-0236 or caldric97@aol.com if you would like to donate toiletries or assist with this activity.
