PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:
We enjoyed another month of sharing with the FHGC family. Thanks to Dottie with her tireless effort to make sure everything goes well, we had a great St Patrick dinner. Also thanks to Eva we had a successful silent auction from handcraft items to one of a kind treasure and all received well. Thank you to those who donated and those who bid on items. Now we are getting ready to share some with those in need. This month we are putting gift bags together for homeless and battered women shelters, come and give us a helping hand.

NOTES:
THANKS to the efforts and participation of our Garden Club membership, the St. Patrick's Day Dinner and Silent Auction was enjoyed by all. Many of our 65 merry revelers helped bid the auction items up for a nice evening's sum of $2,250.
The clubhouse looked great thanks to the decor and set up efforts of Clorinda Aldrich, Ellie Barry, Donna Earhart, Eva Monroe, Dottie's niece ( Eileen), daughter ( Colleen) and husband Dan. Eileen and Colleen also worked the kitchen and were helped with the cleanup by Katie and John Balestreri, Trish Hurt, Donna and Jim Earhart, Sima Talai, Darlene Hartman, Dan and Eva. Special thanks to Guerra's for catering for us again and to Sima for the great appetizers.
Many thanks to Walt Farrell and Will Connolly for their wonderful a cappella rendition of so many Irish tunes. Thanks so much to Yen Bachmeier who so expertly engineered the music for us. It would not have been as festive without them!
