PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:

With the mood of the Emerald Isle permeating the room, our second annual Saint Patrick’s Day Party continued the tradition of the gathering of the Clan and those who would only be Clan for the day. Thank you to Will Connelly who sang us a Classic Repertoire of Irish Songs. Thank you to chair Dottie McHugh and her committee of stalwart workers who helped with the details of putting the party together. Thank you to Sally Kipper, Anna Bolechowski, Anna Cristoforo, Janice Greene, Donna Earhart, Jim Earhart, Buzz Pritchard, Toni Buckley and all those who gave a hand to make our clean-up a community event.

The Nominating Committee consisting of Clorinda Aldrich, Katie Balestreri, Darlene Hartman, Eva Monroe and Helen Scholten have recommended the following slate of officers for 2009-2010:

PERSIAN NIGHT:
April 17th – Back by popular demand. The cost is $25 per person, includes a feast of Persian delicacies, with wine and live music, provided by Sima Talai and her faithful helpers.
RSVP by April 12th. Make check payable to FHGC and send to Sima Talai, 2180-9th Avenue.
