PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE: ROCKIN’ & ROLLING… with the support from all the club members, from vice presidents to our newest member Pam Miller, we had great fun on Craft Day, and a productive year so far, THANK YOU ALL. I believe I am the happiest president. We learned how to make beautiful pin cushions, cloth bags, quilt blocks and worked with beads, thanks to Darlene Hartman and her helpers. But that’s not all, we also learned how to make delicious baklava and delectable pork dumplings, many thanks to Sima Talai and Lonnie Wong. Yum!... If you missed our St Patrick's Day event last year it is coming back on March 15th. This year we will also have wonderful treasures and exciting items at the silent auction which will benefit the FHGC. We will appreciate it if you contribute or purchase. See attached flyer. Please join us for a Docent led tour of the SF Conservatory of Flowers and its second annual Garden Railroad Exhibit now on display on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2010 @ 1PM. The special Train Exhibit has received rave reviews in the local media and from all who have seen its creatively unique display of San Francisco landmarks nestled in and around the track's beautiful foliage. Thanks to the Conservatory, our admission is free! Following the tour, tea and refreshments will be served at the home of Eva Monroe.
