PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:

Our annual fall luncheon, on September 15th, welcomed back many happy, familiar and new faces. It was also an opportunity to introduce our new membership committee consisting of Dottie McHugh and past president Katie Balestreri who are joining forces to encourage new and old members to sign up AND SHARE THE EXPERIENCE OF OUR FRIENDLY GROUP. What a dynamic club we can have!

I would like to thank the many helping hands that made our luncheon run so smoothly and effortlessly. Thanks to vice president Anna Bolechowski and Nancy Hagosian for coming early to set up the decorations and prepare the table decorations and settings. Thanks to Dottie McHugh for loaning the club her fuchsia table coverings that have served to keep up the memory of our Garden Club flower and traditions that have served us for decades. We give many thanks and praise to our chefs of the day Anna Bolechowski, Kathy Farrell, and Darlene Hartman. Also, we want to thank Louise Bacigalupi and Helen Scholten for taking the reservations and offering assistance in our ever-changing kitchen.

Be sure to join us at our Italian Trattoria on October 13th, where we plan to have a casual, friendly evening of great comfort food and even greater company.
