PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE: Thanksgiving is just around the corner and we are heading into the hectic rush of the holidays. I hope you and your families will take the time to enjoy the festive season. This year’s bookfest was a great success. More than thirty members came to hear our speakers, Neal Sofman and Anna Bullard, share their knowledge and enthusiasm about their literary selections. Members who purchased books that day received a 20% discount. Thanks to Anna Cristoforo who did the beautiful fall flower display for the event. We are grateful to the many thoughtful Forest Hill residents who managed to fill five large barrels with food donations for the San Francisco Food Bank. Thanks to Ellie Barry and Tony Buckley who have graciously organized the Food Drive for many years. Friday, December 3rd Wreath Making Day 10:30 AM - Design and assemble your wreaths. Bring gloves and tools for cutting Sunday, December 5th Deck the Halls 10:00 AM - Set up for Annual Holiday Party, complete with tree-trimming, festive decorations and holiday cheer. Hot lunch provided by our President.
