Forest Hill Garden Club
PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE: Our first event of the season was a great success with 45 guests attending to hear Jacquie Proctor , author talking about her newly published book “Bay Area Beauty: The Artistry of Harold G. Stoner, Architect” . The book covers many homes in Forest Hill and many owners of such homes attended the talk. Many thanks to Dottie McHugh for bringing Jacquie to the Garden Club. Anna Bolechowski was hostess again this year for our annual chicken salad luncheon. We thank her committee who set up on Sunday and worked around the leak and various plumbing problems. A special thank to Michael Bolechowski who roasted the delicious chicken for our luncheon. Beautiful flowers were done by Darlene Hartman, Nancy Hagosian, Eva Monroe, Helen Scholten, Anna Cristoforo and Dottie McHugh . Many of the arrangements used our neighborhood flower, the fuchsia as well as lovely ferns and hydrangeas from our gardens. --Nancy Hagosian (for Sima Talai) Monday, October 4, 2010 10:00 AM Meeting of Executives and Standing Chairs Hosted by Helen Scholten at her home Monday, October 18, 2010 - Musee d' Orsay Post Impressionist Masterpieces 12:30 AM Reception 01:00 PM General Meeting 01:30 PM Program: FAMSF docent Kate Sculti presents us with a lecture slide show of the de Young Museum special event that is taking the town by storm.
